About our Client: Our client is a high growth NYC Saas startup offering performance and engagement solutions that help companies maximize the value of their employees. They leverage employee and customer data to blend real-time performance management with personalized microlearning and advanced gamification,  They are currently building out their NYC Marketing team and offer fantastic office culture, full benefits, matching 401k, and more. Responsibilities for the VP of Marketing:

  • Responsibility for overall marketing strategy, management, measurement and optimization of marketing channels and activities
  • To optimize the entire demand generation funnel to cost-effectively drive the sales pipeline. Build and manage a progressive, measurable demand gen strategy
  • Design integrated campaigns to drive top of the funnel leads and optimize middle of the funnel and bottom of the funnel opportunities.
  • Mentor new team members and provide leadership vision to engage and drive marketing team efforts
  • Develop budget and execute on long and short term marketing plans aligned with business goals, monitor and respond to changes in order to consistently achieve goals
  • Strategic vision and product marketing: Market analysis, segmentation, overall messaging and product marketing strategies (pricing and go-to market plans)
  • Spokesperson, diving into customer buying behavior analysis, segmentation and profiling to improve quality of customers
  • Manage all Marketing Communication activities: Website and social appearance, Brand awareness, PR & Media, AR and IR

Requirements for VP of Marketing:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in executive Marketing roles in an enterprise B2B start-up environment, at least 3 of them in SaaS
  • Strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial growth marketer with strong project management skills who can move up and down from strategy to detailed execution
  • Experience in inbound and outbound marketing, including managing a Sales Development organization
  • Experienced in product marketing, specifically working closely with sales teams
  • An understanding of technologies supporting impactful digital marketing and social media efforts
  • Highly dynamic thinker, with excellent communication and follow-through skills
  • Thriving in a highly collaborative and growth-driven environment
  • Must be KPIs and data-driven, capable of connecting them to effective business models
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and evaluate success
  • A track record of accomplishments
