About the role

They are seeking a Product Marketing Director in their NYC office with a background in B2B Technology and ability to drive compelling high-impact exposure for startups. As Product Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing engaging marketing programs that will reach the target audience for product and inspire an increase in sales revenue. You will provide key input on product positioning, and will enable sales, business development, and marketing teams to generate and close opportunities. You will be the champion for new product innovations, will lead product collateral creation, and will be at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates and prospects.

Responsibilities for Product Marketing Director:

  • Create relationships with existing customers and talk with prospects to understand the needs and priorities of buyers
  • Conduct competitive analysis on a regular basis
  • Based on your understanding of market needs and competitive analysis, provide key input on product positioning and value proposition, as well as competitive differentiation
  • Advise marketing and business development teams on the right topics and messages that will attract and educate customers across industries
  • Devise and lead marketing programs to generate leads in specific industries and markets
  • Enable the marketing, business development, and sales teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities
  • Lead product collateral creation

Ideal Qualifications for Product Marketing Director:

  • 3+ years B2B SaaS product marketing experience
  • Proven history of creating effective marketing programs
  • Past experience in digital marketing, project management, and/or product management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.
  • Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
  • Event management experience – a plus
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity

Salary

$100,000-$120,000
