About our client

Our client is disruptive global SaaS analytics platform for the hospitality industry focused on improving the client experience with the creation of digital tools and real time communication. They are funded in major growth mode and seeking Inside Sales Representative to join their startup NYC office! Role offers major growth, training, ability to use technical skill and sales skill set (closing deals), base, commission plan and fantastic benefits!

The Role

As an Inside Sales Representative you are getting your feet wet in sales and experiencing how a startup will grow for the ground up. The opportunity is endless once you “earn your stripes.”

Responsibilities for Inside Sales Representative:

  • First couple of weeks, you will go through extensive training covering product knowledge, sales and market trends.
  • Pitching to CEO’s, attending events within the hospitality industry, making calls and demoing the technology using GoToMeeting
  • Targeting mid-level hotel groups within a certain region
  • Network and cold calls daily. Cold calling is step one, but the focus is building relationships, demonstrating the tools and attending events!
  • Hitting achievable targets: calls and revenue using Salesforce and partaking in internal sales contests!
  • Working with client success team (your support system)
  • Research accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the benefits of platform
  • Work closely with marketing to support successful outbound campaigns
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts

Who we are looking for ideally:

  • Also looking for recent grad – 2 years of sales experience. Recent grad would have Sales DNA
  • 1 year of experience in lead qualification/business development experience w/ technology company, in support of providing qualified leads to sales organization.
  • Fearlessness in cold calling
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate technology highlighting benefits/advantages/features

Salary

$40,000 – $55,000 base + bonus+ equity
